The woman that I lived with for 7 years went insane. Her family would have nothing to do with this situation. I was the only one left to help her and because of her right to privacy no one would talk to me. She ended up her life by killing herself. No one was there for her right to have help.

A friend of mine says that your employer is not allowed to look at e-mails and stuff that belongs to you, they are aloud to scan through it;meaning; just browes to see if there is any info being leeked conserning the company, but not actually reply and read all of them. my question is is my friend rite and what is the law conserning this?

Does anyone else besides me see how the health privacy act backfired against us? Before this law, if you had a doctor’s excuse, the employer was basically forced to accept this as an excuse for absense. Now you can be sick as a dog and either go to work or get fired, whether you have had to go to the doctor or not. There is no longer an excuse to be sick. Just go to work and spread it around. Then maybe everyone will get fired.

I am specifically referring to how anyone in the USA can – with a click of the mouse or cellphone – find out another person’s entire life history. A good example is the new Application for cell phones called DateCheck by a company called Intelius. To me, this is an invasion of a person’s individual rights.

The large corporation that I work for has made it mandatory for every employee’s picture to be put on a life sized bill board in the lobby. I don’t want my picture up, can I say no based on some kind of employee rights or privacy law? If so, can you please give a website where i can print off the info.

i got an email from my internet provider saying that paramount pictures sent them an email saying that i downloaded iron man 2 and to immediatly delete it isn’t there a law protecting my privacy.

What is the privacy/confidentiality law concerning minors when it comes to giving out third party information? What if that third party is a parent?
And dont say something smart ass like “you should already know if your a”practicing”professional …..Iam not iam in SCHOOL for a reason…..
