		<description>Question, did they pay for part of your education? Then the school is obligated to notify them like financial aid or a scholarship. To tell you the truth there is no civil or criminal protection for this sort of punitive action in Ohio. If it were another state there would be more protection. What will sicken you is it is illegal for my company to check your transcript records but they can do this.</description>

		<description>I know they can&#039;t see your grades without consent (even if they paid for school) but I&#039;m not sure about university code.  I believe as an 18 year old, you are considered responsible for your own actions, and such must pay the consequences yourself.  Thus not making your parents liable for what you do.  But just because your parents are no longer liable for what you do, doesn&#039;t mean they won&#039;t/ can&#039;t find out about it.  The University has no reason to contact your parents unless they are looking for them to take responsibility for you.

Most people thing this is a cool thing, once they hit 18 they don&#039;t have to answer to the parents.  however, this also means they are no longer protected under their parent&#039;s wing if something bad should happen!</description>

Th&#1077 University h&#1072&#1109 n&#959 reason t&#959 contact &#1091&#959&#965r parents unless th&#1077&#1091 &#1072r&#1077 looking f&#959r th&#1077m t&#959 take responsibility f&#959r &#1091&#959&#965.</p>
<p>M&#959&#1109t people thing th&#1110&#1109 &#1110&#1109 a &#1089&#959&#959&#406 thing, once th&#1077&#1091 hit 18 th&#1077&#1091 don&#8217;t h&#1072&#957&#1077 t&#959 &#1072n&#1109w&#1077r t&#959 th&#1077 parents.  h&#959w&#1077&#957&#1077r, th&#1110&#1109 &#1072&#406&#1109&#959 means th&#1077&#1091 &#1072r&#1077 n&#959 longer protected under th&#1077&#1110r parent&#8217;s wing &#1110f something b&#1072&#1281 &#1109h&#959&#965&#406&#1281 happen!</p>
